5 mistakes we make while dining at a fancy restaurant

Dining out sounds fun and exciting to all of us. It's always a pleasure to eat in a high-resolution restaurant in dim light with soft music in the background, after all, who doesn't love fancy dinners.

But there are certain times that we come out of a fancy restaurant unsatisfied. After paying a huge bill, we do not feel the food worth it. Sometimes, we blame it all on restaurants for not providing quality food but have you ever thought that it could've been us who don't know what goes with what and how to perfectly balance our meals with all the courses.

So here are 5 common mistakes we all do while ordering at a fancy place that might ruin our special night with our loved ones.
1. Know your order: The most common mistake we all do is order food that sounds exciting and fancy. That's the worst you could do to ruin your taste buds for the rest of the evening. Always ask the ingredients and content from the waiter so that when the dish arrives, it won't disappoint you. Don't confuse yourself with fancy names and their descriptions below.

2. Sync your main course with deserts: This is another mistake you do not want to do. It might sound crazy but syncing the main course with the deserts is important. For instance, if you are eating Japanese food in your main course and suddenly wanna eat jalebi or something Indian in your deserts, you are just confusing your taste buds to appreciate the different cuisines all at the same time. This might upset your stomach as well.

3. Going for dinner with half filled stomach: A fancy dinner needs to be enjoyed in all three layers, the starters the main course and of course the deserts, otherwise it won't be good enough. if you are thinking of stepping out for dinner and grabbing some snacks on the way, that's not the good idea. I would recommend going for dinner empty stomach is better to enjoy to the fullest.
In fact, there are several restaurants in France where they serve 7-8 courses of food with 5 to 6 dishes each in the buffet and it's disrespectful to waste food there, so it is kind of obligation to go there empty stomach to try each dish individually.

4. Price check: We often decide whether a dish is good or not by looking at its price. If a dish is for 100rs it's not gonna be as good as the dish which is priced at 500rs, so we go for the expensive one but it's not always what we think it is.
One time I ordered a kiwi smoothie instead of a normal chocolate smoothie which I order usually because it was priced high and the description looked amazing. I was disappointed with the taste (of course), and I couldn't even finish it. so better go with what you really wanna have instead of going after the prices.

5. Tip the waiter: A fancy restaurant wants you to tip the waiter before leaving or any restaurant for that matter, you might think waiters are extra polite because it is there duty but they want you to treat them good as well. Your perfect experience is the contribution of your waiter as well and they mostly rely on these tips for their basic needs as their salaries aren't enough for what they do.

So next time when you go out for a fancy dinner I hope you experience the best and come home happy and satisfied.
